1999 infiniti g20t with 68000 miles. i paid 3,800 for it. It has leather interior, sunroof, automatic. the ac needs freon though. and the airbag light is on because it had been in an accident but minor. the radiator had to be replaced. does the airbag cost a lot to fix?

A: G20 T has the touring package in it, like the spoiler and star-patterned alloy wheels and low profile tires and things like that
normal G20s have to buy a package to get some of the stuff G20t's do. Have fun with your new car :)
and i don't think there's a difference in performance.

I just bought this car a few ymonths ago, 145k, and unlike the standard g20's, it has cloth interior and no moonroof. I don't know how big the gas tank is or anything. All I know is I fixed the blown head gasket w/ my dad. He's done it tons before, but doesn't know much else about my car other than the the engine.
A: Nice car, really. Similar to Nissan Primera (sold in Europe). The motorized belts on the early cars are annoying, IMO.

A: It should tell you in the owners manual...R u sure it is suppose to be under the hood..if so it should be marked FUSES.on the cover.You need to lift the cover off..Some fuse boxes are in the glove box or in the lower left corner under dash of some cars.The exact location of this model. Not sure.but tried to help.

A: the best thing you can do for yourself is to have it inspected before buying by a qualified mechanic, this way he can point out any problems or expensive repairs that may be required in 6 months. It's very easy to spend $300-$500 on a brake job or an exhaust system and you don't want to have to fork this kind of money out just after buying it. You also should ask for the service history/receipts on it.

I heard that if my car shifts with a bang, it's possible that it's the vacuum modulator that's gone bad, and i want to try to replace it to see if it will get better.

A: First thing first, if your catalytic converter is right against your exhaust manifold. Then you will have to remove it. Depending on state laws and inspection you will have to buy a straight catalytic converter (a high flow) and weld it underneath. Make sure it is CARB and EPA compliant, so you can pass emissions.

If your cooling system can handle the extra heat and the engine itself is in good shape then depending on your turbo setup you could maybe (always check) go to 8psi which will give you about 80hp extra, for a total of 225hp at crank.
This can cost anywhere from $5k to $7k depending on rates and parts bought, plus labor.
