Q: 1995 g20 infiniti automatic transmission tac at 5 to move in drive can drive in 2nd fine?
transmission in limp mode no codes.

A: sounds like the transmission maybe toast but you can try changing out the fluid and filter to see if maybe it would help but I think it is doubtful, you might have to replace the transmission.

Q: Inatalling speakers in a 1995 Infiniti G20?
I am trying to install speakers in the rear of the car. How do I do this? I have two new speakers to put in place of the old ones, but how do I get the old ones out? thanks

A: Go to http://www.crutchfield.com/S-eXZjLRsQb0o/ and follow their instructions.

Q: Is Hyundai Sonata V6 1999 is a better car or an Infiniti G20 1995 4 Cyllinder?
both have same mileage

A: . Google thru a couple of the web site Reviews on each car. FORGET about acceleration and that crap! You're buying reliable Transportation, that's ALL. I think the Infiniti is a better car, but maybe NOT when it's 4 years older. Fluids and gaskets and belts, whatever , have more time to break down.

Q: can i use e85 in a 1995 infiniti g20?

A: No, it's not designed for it.

Q: cant open trunk of infiniti g20 1995
my trunk latch is broken and i used to get into my trunk through my back seat but i accidently locked both sides so the saets wont fold down any more and i dont remember where the lock on the back seat is can someone help please or show me a pics of the lock on the rear seat of their g20 so i know where to reach my hands

A: Hi Ken to me the best thing that I can suggest here is to call up the dealership and request to speak to a customer service rep they should be able to help you with that problem with ease or drive to one if close by and have them help you on the spot. Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way due to the age of your vehicle I'd not be surprised if the big do it yourself auto wreckers wouldn't have a locking system very cheap for that vehicle especially if you took it off yourself.

Q: is it reliable to buy a 1995 Infinitti G20 with 179000 miles for 1200$ . New Transmission was placed @ 120000?

Seller has all the service records including oil changes, tune-ups. seller also placed a new transmission at 120,000. A: heyy there.. uhm, at 179000 miles...that is ALOT.. yes, its only 1200$, but think with me for a minute. At 179000 mi., 1200$ it seems attractive, but how much are you going to be spending to fix all the other problems with it? Remeber it has 179000 miles on it. Things other than the transmission are going to need to be replaced. Here, check out kelly blue book . com thats where I go to see if im getting screwed over. its a good site. look, its a low price, but is it worth it? alright? happy searching

Q: Do my spark plugs need to be replaced? & Car goes slow uphill.?
I've had my 1995 Infiniti G20 for five years. I've never had the spark plugs replaced but wondered if it is time to replace them? I'm on top of the oil maintenance. Also when I am going uphill in the mountains, my car can't go faster than 50 mph. I see many cars pass by me without lack of speed. What would be the cause of that lack of power?

A: Obviously, you have neglected tune-ups, a good one includes not only new plugs but a cleaning of the throttle body(most cars), this will improve mileage and pep. Nevertheless, this is not likely your problem(but needs done anyways) Most likely your problem is either bad valve seats(low compression) or a faulty fuel injection system (dirty injectors to just a clogged fuel filter) If you've been taking your car to oil change shops and didn't pay the extra for the premium oil($60+) it is likely that your engine is worn out. (many shops use substandard oil) A simple (general rule of thumb) way to determine whether or not your engine is "worn out" is to remove the oil fill cap while the engine is running, take a piece of paper and hold it over the oil fill hole(while running) if the paper is blown up or out of the way the engine is bad(worn out) if it is sucked down, doesn't move or bounces up and down on top of the hole the engine is good and worthy of repairs.

Q: New stereo with iPod input?
I am looking for a new stereo for my 1995 Infiniti G20. I want to be able to play my iPod on it, and be able to scroll through the songs on the stereo its self. Obviously an AM/FM radio, CD player is not completely necessary. I do not need bluetooth, HD radio, or satellite radio. I am looking for around the $100 - $150 range. Any suggestions?

A: Try this: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?o=p&showAll=Y&g=300&i=500IDAX200&tp=5684 This has a nicer version that runs at about $350. This is what I wanted for my car, but I didn't get it. The circle in the middle of the head unit allows for use just as if it were an ipod.

Q: My car speakers turn on and off?
I have an Infiniti G20 1995 and my front door speakers keep turning on and off. It seems like they turn off more often when there is hot weather. My rear right speaker also doesn't work but I am more concerned on getting my front speakers to be reliable. Where can I get a repair service to check this problem out for me. I don't want to replace my front speakers only to have the same problem so I want to know what is happening first. Would Circuit City, Best Buy, Sears, or Fry's be able to look at the problem?

A: you probably have a cold or bad solder joint on the speaker connection, it does not sound they are blown. if you do not know much about this subject just got to any of those places that you mentioned

Q: 1995 Saab 900 S, Speedometer, trip and odometer, not working!!!?
I just bought this car as a result of someone being really cool and watching another accident, in turn rear ending me and totalling (sp?) my pretty cool Infiniti G20. Of course i knew there would be issues, as with any used car, issues you don't find out until you've driven for a week or so. Well, the other day the speedometer quit working... and a while after that it shot back up to however fast I was traveling. Last night I noticed that while the speedometer is not working, neither is the trip or the odometer! I'm not sure what to do, wasn't sure if any other Saab owners had experienced this problem and what may be a possible solution. Any help, thoughts, suggestions etc are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!!! Have a good one.

A: It's probably the electric pick up sensor on the gearbox as they do have problems. It's where the cable screws onto and easy to replace.

Q: is Hyundai Sonata V6 1999 is a better car or an Infiniti G20 1995 4 Cyllinder?
both have same mileage

A: hmm, tough question, neither is particularly good car for the long term, but both should be cheap (under $3500). I don't know much about the Sonata's that old, but there was nothing special about the Sentra clone G20. The deciding factor for me would be the condition and maintainence that's been performed on each vehicle. It's highly recommended that you have both cars inspected by a mechanic to check for problems prior to purchase, that could save you alot of money over the next few months. When dealing with cars that old you want to be careful since you likely can't afford a major repair right after buying the car.
