I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 and I am shopping for car audio. I am a big MTX fan..I owned a 15" T9500 and sold it because i got rid of my honda. I am trying to find out if the MTX Sledgehammer enclosure for two 15s or 12s fit in my trunk. Thank you
A: i highly doubt it. go to mtx.com and look at the spec of the box and then go check out the trunk.
Q: How often should I change my oil on my 2003 Infiniti G35?
Someone told me that it only requires an oil change every 5k miles.
A: Most cars are 3000 miles or 3 months.
Cars like BMW and Porsche can last longer.
Check the owners manual Or, when you change the oil, drive 3000 miles and check the oil level. While checking the oil level, wipe a white paper towel against the oil dipstick.
If the oil color is dark brown or black, it needs to be changed.
If it is a light brown or gold color, the oil is fine.
So keep checking it every 1000 miles after to find out when you need to change your oil.

The CD player on a 2003 Infiniti G35... can it play MP3 CDs or just regular CDs?
I tried putting MP3's on a CD and playing it on the car... it doesn't play! Am I doing something wrong?

I found the instructions to open the trunk, close and lock all doors, and then put the key in and out of the ignition more than 6 times in 10 seconds. Which i did but im not getting the hazard lights to blink. Im getting no response what so ever from putting the key in the ignition
A: Since it's a 2003, it's still under warranty. Bring it to the dealer.

just got it yesterday, everything was working fine, today, when i turn on the ignition, the air conditioner automatically kicks on and i can't turn it off nor can i adjust anything. also the stereo unit doesn't display anything. i can only control the stereo from the steering wheel and not from the unit itself? whats going on?
A: As a infiniti employee i have seen this before. Sounds to me like the pcb behiend the radio and climate controls is messed up, i would take it back as soon as possible and have it repaired, as also mentioned the bcm could be at fault, but seeing as the steering wheel controls are meesed i have only seen pcb and radios cause this problem.
Q: I need to replace my windshield because of a crack in it. The car is a 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan.?
I called a local Infiniti dealer (I didn't purchase the car at this dealer) and was told that the service would cost $275 and the new part would cost $850 [total= $1125]. I then found a shop that replaces glass in cars and they told me my windshield replacement, with the part and service included will cost $140 total. I don't know whether I should get my windshield replaced there for 2 reasons: 1) They might do a poor job and not glue it on properly, or well enough, so that it might start coming apart from the frame of the car in several months, and 2) rain may leak through (because they are doing it for a lot less that Infiniti, I expect the result to be a lot worse).
Am I right correct in my assumptions? Should I get my windshield replaced with the generic place or should I take my car to an official Infiniti dealer? Can I trust the generic shop to do a good job on my car? Any help would be appreciated greatly. Thank you.
A: call your insurance co. and you will pay $100. deductable for the windshield and they will come to your driveway and change it for you or where you work and it won't raise your insurance.

A: The Camaro is definitely the faster of the 2 in a straight line drag race. It would be close, but the G35 would lose like everyone else above has stated. Those American V8's are tough to beat, they may look like crap but the recent Pontiac GTO's also had the Corvette 5.7 liter engine.

The gas cover says "Premium fuel is recommended" so it doesn't say necessary. I ask different people and get different opinions so I'd like to see what you guys think! And if not using premium n using maybe regular will in time hurt my car. Thanks!
A: through experience of owning imports which need a high octane fuel only fill with what the car recommends and please do not no matter what any one says put a lower grade of fuel in your car,the car is designed and test to run on that full rating,Yes people prob have ran for cars for years on the lower full.Just as people can run for years eating the wrong food but as with the car and the person it may be soon or later but it will cause some problems along the way.
Stick to the best fuel and you get the best from your car as it is with anything in life.
I know its more expensive but myself have to do a 12 mile trip just to get a high grade fuel.
Save a few pennies today but risk losing a few notes tommorow

Q: 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe window prob...?
I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe and the window is supposed to go slightly down when the door is opened, then go back up. Well it goes down but not back up, so after a few times of opening the door, the window is half way down. This doesn't sound like a regulator or switch problem. If you know this problem, please help....but a bunch of guesses won't do me any good. Thanks everyone.
A: If you have a volt meter what you what to check first will be the drivers side door window limit switch and circuit.

I bought a pre-certified 03 G35 at a Infiniti dealer last November It had 41k miles. Within a week my car was overheating, then my radiator blew up and smoked up my hood. When I'm driving it will stop on me randomly. There is a weird rattly noise in the back of my car too. I've been takin my car to the dealer where i bought it to have it checked. I asked if this car has been in a car accident and they said "No Way". But this last time I took it they questioned me and askeed me if I have been in an accident. What should I do???? Is this car considered a Lemon because I keep having problems with it and the dealer can't find a problem to fix it. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
A: the only problem is, the lemon law isn't intended for used cars. and especially not if you've driven it now for a year. if you can find out who the original owner was they might tell you if they had any problems or if it was wrecked. the selling dealer probably won't disclose any more than they have to. if you were really crafty, you might be able to schmooze someone at another infinity dealership into telling you the service history on the car. that is assuming infinity provides such info to its dealer body. i can tell,under warranty, what was done, where, when, and the original owner of most later model gm and chrysler vehicles. too bad that won't help you with this.
