Q: If i buy a 2005 infiniti g35 coupe, will it make the loud sound when i press the accelerator?
I like the 05' g35 coupe, but i like to make a lot of noise when i press the accelerator. Will the g35 make the sound or is it the new which do it??? Please answer!!
A: the g35/ 350z have a tuned exhaust from the factory that produce that sound that you are talking about. so to answer your question, yes.
Q: What is the difference between a 2004 infiniti g35 coupe and a 2005 infiniti g35 coupe?
What is the difference? Also I have been reading reviews from consumers and noticed a lot of complaints about the brakes wearing out quickly on the '04 but did not see much complaints about that on the '05.
Also, I will be purchasing a used g35 shortly so is it better to wait until the new g37 comes out and hope that the price will fall or would it not make much of a difference and just buy it now? I want to buy it ASAP but if the price will reduce, I can wait. My budget will be in the low 20's.
Sorry about the confusion, but when I said I was gonna purchase the used g35, I meant should I wait until the new g37 comes out and hope that the price of the old g35 will fall?
A: ones a 2004 and the others a 2005
Q: How can i safely give my 2005 infiniti g35 more hp in the cheapest way, without it turning it into some ricer?
If i cant do it within $500 or so, id rather not do it because i know if i go too cheap itll just mess it up and turn the nice car into crap
A: Start with a new intake and freer flowing exhaust, you should be able to get an exhaust for your car under$500, but with that and the intake it will take you over budget
Q: Does a 2005 Infiniti G35 have an automatic transmission fluid dipstick, or do you have to buy one?
Thanks for the answers so far. I know where the fill tube is, but the cap is bolted down. I read in another forum that there isnt a dipstick attached to the cap, and you have to take it to a dealer to get the fluid checked. I want to confirm so I dont waste any efforts taking the engine cover off, then find out there's no dipstick to check the fluid.
A: The G35 had different fluid then most cars and no there is no dipstick but infiniti dealers have one that is over sized so the tech will not forget about it.
Q: 2005 infiniti g35 sport package?
I'm looking for a 2005 or maybe 06 G35. Should I buy one with the sport package? Does it look and perform better? Or is it just a matter of personal preference?
A: I think the sport package will add "sport" tuned firmer suspension, touring/sport wheels and tires and maybe better brakes... I'm sure it will have a distinct emblem on it somewhere and it should have a few different styles inside the cab.
If your gonna buy a G35, might as well go for the optional equipment it was really made for, i say...
Best wishes, happy hunting!

A: It will be around $3,400 a year or $1,700 per 6 months.
An cheaper non-luxury older car would be $1,300/6 months and $2,600/year.
Q: is it true that the 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe always are having problems? let me know more about this car?

Q: What is the best way to get more horsepower out of my 3.5L 2005 Infiniti G35 on a $600 budget?
A: well you can buy a cold air intake for about 300, then engine pulleys..but i suggest getting the engine pulleys, a plenum spacer, or a different manifold, instead of the intake...the intakes dont increase the power..maybe 2hp to the wheels..
Q: How can I get the most horsepower out of my 3.5L 2005 Infiniti G35 on a $600 budget?
A: Cold Air Intakes, there are lots of companies, i'd choose injen b/c of their quality. 20HP for VQ engines. $300-400
Then get a performance chip. The REAL ones go for around $150-200.
They will give you another 20HP.
That's atleast 40HP right there.
Also change your oil every MONTH.
Q: has anyone had problems with the fuel tank on a 2005 Infiniti G35 coupe? i can only fill up my tank 3/4 full.?
I think there is an indicator that is knocked off balance that is causing the tank to appear filled when it really isn't.
A: I had that problem when I first got my G coupe. It's because the fuel is kicking back when you're pumping it, making the pump think the car is full when it is not. When this happens, just repump, but slower.
Q: Is a 2005 Infiniti G35 rear or front wheel drive?
A: It's a rear-driver. G35x is the AWD (all-wheel drive) version. Torque-split is 40%-front/60%-rear, but has the ability to run in 100%-rear.
Also if you include transmissinons, the 2-wheel versions are available with either automatic or manual shifting. G35x is automatic only.
Q: need a body kit for my 2005 infiniti g35?
i already got tintson there..its a coupe..and ive got19 inch rims on there with a 1.25" drop all around....need suggestions for a bodykit and also...are fiberglass bodykits no good? they crack/chip very ezly? if so whts an alternate?
A: Honestly? A car that beautiful does not need a body kit. Besides, most body kits give a 'cheesy' appearance to the car. Your G35 doesn't deserve that. The drop and the 19in rims are sufficient.
Q: Should I buy a 2007, 2006, or 2005 Infiniti G35 sedan?
What are the major differences between them? Would it be worth buying an 07 so that I can keep it for longer before selling it and get more out of the warranty? Or is the depreciation high between 07 and 05? It's my first Infiniti so I'm not sure what the major differences are.
A: 07 G35 sedan has been completely redesigned but if you get an 05-06 G sedan, you are getting an older design. Take a look http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infiniti_G35
The new 2007 G35 sedan has been completely redesigned (despite having the old chassis remained unchanged), and is powered by a brand new engine called VQ35HR. This engine is more powerful, more fuel efficient, and more responsive than the previous VQ35DE. The "HR" stands for High Revolution. Over 80% of the internal components have been strengthened or redesigned to handle the increased RPM range. (7500RPM Redline). Although the horsepower rating is only 8 more than the previous generation, the real horsepower difference was much more due to the new SAE guidelines for horsepower ratings in 2007. Infiniti G35 Sedan Journey (Auto) with 306HP can get 0-60 MPH: 5.4 sec, 1/4 mile 14.0 sec (according to Consumer Reports)
Q: Question about Infiniti G35 and G35x 2005?
I'm planning to get a 2005 G35.but I wonder that, RWD G35 may run well on snow?i'm living in Utah. quite snow.how about G35x?and maintaining cost is high?because I think I can change oil by myself. Please give me more information about this car. What is its problem?and good, bad things of it.Thank you so much for helping me Pal
A: Buy the G35x, it is worth the extra money. The weight distribution is good on the RWD but all wheel is the way to go in a cold climate.
Q: An Infiniti G35 coupe (2005) or a 2005 BMW 5 series. Which would you rather go for?
An Infiniti G35 coupe (2005) or a 2005 BMW 5 series. Which would you rather go for?
I've got a wife and a 1 year old son at the moment so don't mind a coupe. Just a bit unsure as to which is a better car to own.................in terms of looks, maintainance, durability, insurance, etc.
I understand both cars are quite different but these just happen to be the cars I love.........and can afford.
Thanks.
A: Myself would take them both out the G35 which as we know is really also the 350gt skyline which is really the rear seated 350z.
As the car themselves they are both good and which is better,i would say that depends on you really and your choice against opinions we have unless we have owned both them that's all it is.
I do like the BMW range and always have but to be fair, they have lost there edge of the class they are.
Best places to go are the forums which suits the cars to get an honest answer.IE
