Q: How do I change the HID Bulb on my Infiniti M35?
Thank you for looking. I own a 2006 Infiniti M35, and am looking to change the HID Bulb. I read the owners manual, but it states to take it to the dealer, which I refuse to do for a simple bulb change. Does anyone know how exactly to do it? Thanks a lot

A: Well.... the reason the manual says to take your car to the dealer is because you dont have a light bulb exactly. The part that makes the light is part of a high voltage system. The light you see is not unlike the arc of an electric welder. There is the likelyhood that you have a bad transformer and not the "bulb". this system works well, but sometimes can be tricky to diagnose, hence the reason for returning to the dealer (or reputable garage) good luck.

A: Bring it to the dealer. Screw it up and it's going to cost you a bundle.

Looking at getting a Used Infiniti 2006 or 2007 M35 or M45 and would like to have 1 1/4" hitch for a bike rack. My current bike rack, Yakima is roof mount, but it is so loud with wind that I stopped using my sunroof. Also, I'd like to keep the lines of such a nice auto undisturbed.

A: I don't see a hitch listed for your vehicle with Draw-tite or Curt. One option for you would be to contact a certified welder and have one fabricated for you. You can find the tubing here: http://store.drawtite.com/3006.html That's for a 1 1/4" x 1 1/4". I know it probably sounds expensive to have it made, but there are a lot of local welders that have good pricing.

Q: Can I buy/download Wiring Diagrams for 2008 Infiniti M35?
I need to do some modifications to the electrical system in my 2008 Infiniti M35. I need to get my hands on a wiring diagram for the audio/navigation related wiring harnesses. Can this be downloaded from somewhere? Or purchased at a reasonable cost somewhere?

A: the m is a platform car and what make a m35 is engine size vq35de and a m45 vk45de as far as options the 35 has more options and comes all wheel drive the m45 does not ..the cars are the same the only real difference is the engine and what options installed on vehicle ....

The car per seller, was involved in a minor rear end collission where no airbags where deployed. The car has already been repaired, and from what I can see it looks new. thank you for looking.

A: No. Same body for the 2008, but they may change the engine for the 2009 model to 3.7 liter and 4.7 litter engines. For those model the name will be change to M37 and M47

I'm looking for a 2007 Infiniti M 35 X. I know the 2008's are coming out so I'm looking for a good deal on an '07. When do the '08's come out? When is a good time to negotiate a deal on a '07? Would it be better to get a used '07 or a new '07? I'm getting inventories on both new and used from dealers in my area. Is there anything else I should be doing to get agood deal?

A: The best time to deal for an 07 car will be in January. The problem is that they are hard to find in January. If you want to get one soon, the best time is after Labor Day. I would always go for a new one because a used one will be close to the same price, and dealerships are less likely to deal on a used a car, because they have to get a certain amount for it, i.e. more than they gave someone for it during the trade in. I biggest advice is to hold your ground on the price you are willing to pay, thats why they are called dealerships, they are willing to deal. It once took me five hours to get the price I wanted, but I got it. Go in with a max amount in your head and start dealing about 10 to 15% lower than that.

A: Yeah it's a really nice car and it gets superior performance to a Lexus and Mercedes at a lower price, but the new Maxima just came out, the M45/ 35's twin, so a full restyle of the M model is already in the works and should come out really soon. Then again you might get a pretty good discount on the 2008 model when the restyled 2009 model comes out.

A: The only huge difference is the size motor powering the vehicles. M35 has a 3.5 liter V6 and the M45 uses a 4.5 liter V8. The 2006 models have more power but refinements are modest. The 07 and 08 variants are more solid with minimal recall issues. So its really a toss up for you. Now as for the power output, heres a rundown from Edmunds.com. M35 2006 - 280 hp and 270 lb-ft 2007 - 275 hp and 268 lb-ft 2008 - 275 hp and 268 lb-ft M45 2006 - 335 hp and 340 lb-ft 2007 - 325 hp and 336 lb-ft 2008 - 325 hp and 336 lb-ft

the Infiniti M35 has 47000 miles and I can get it for 24000, cause the seat is a little worn and it has a smokey smell. But it's still an extremely nice car with a lot of power, still incredibly clean. I can get a 2008 honda accord EX with everything I want for about 25000

A: well therye both good cars reliable and fun to drive but the question is do you want something with a little more luxury or just a nice regular sedan? the m35 is a v6 and im pretty sure the accord ex is a 4 cylinder, the m35 ya is faster but the accord gets better mpg so if u can afford the gas prices go with the m35
