I'm looking for a reliable, dependable luxury car that will serve me for around 5 more years. I dont mind trips to the dealer but i dont want sudden break downs. Is the miles too much for this car? The price is pretty good and he's got maintenance record as well, not everything from dealer though. He's original owner.
I want to know specifically how dependable the v8 engine and transmission is for this specific vehicle, i know generally infiniti (nissan) are good but I want to know specifics for this car, especially opinions from nissan/infiniti techs, thanks!!!
A: Based on http://www.nada.com values, you are paying about the trade-in value for the car, which already includes a $3700 deduction for the high mileage. I think the engine should be fine to 250,000 miles. At some point before then you may need a transmission. The Q45 is an excellent car and should be reliable if you keep up the maintenance. A: probably acura. if youdidn't know they did tests on expensive cars at a 4-6 mph crash. infiniti bumpers cost almost 15000 to fix and yes that is the right number. its because the plastic.

i am looking to get a new car, and i have looked at far to many, and they all seem to have their benefits, as well as, downsides. I live in minnesota so I am trying to get something good for all seasons, that is comfortable, safe, gets good gas mileage, and most importantly, reliability. i will put a list of the cars i have drove and am considering,for the most part they all meet my requirements, but they all have differing strengths and weaknesses. any help or insight would be appreciated. this is a tough decision for me. o yea, and i am trying to spend as little as possible,for sure under $15,000.

A: BMW 5 series has available sunshades. The rear window shade is power while the doors are manual.

A: My 2003 BMW 540i has rear sunshade with a power rear window shade that works automatically with a light sensor. I think it was a dealer add on though. Not from the factory. I'm don't know, it could have been. I just remember seeing like a 1,200 add on the dealer telling me they put it in.
So I know the e39 5's have sunshades. I'm sure the new e65s do too.

A: I'm pretty sure Infiniti M35, M45, Q45, Lexus GS and LS, and the Audi A6 and A8 offer the sunshade standard. All other cars besides Jaguar and Volvo come with it as an option.
